At the upcoming weekend, from the 18th till the 21th October, we will see world elite of CS. 1.6 and WC3 fighting for a prize money of 65, 000$ in
Los Angeles.This articel should keep you up to date about those tournament.
About the Local Qualifier for the tournaments:
In the local pre qualifier only teams and players from America will attend. They will play a small tournament. The two best teams and players qualify for the main round of Intel Extreme Masters Los Angeles. The local pre qualifier is held on Thursday, 18th of October.

Slap does look half decent though it must be said. Some good danish teams as well as cmax, begrip and auroa. Mmm, should really add the clan tags to the warcraft III players but otherwise, nice effort! CS competition is too hard to call, but Lyn should be able to take the WC3 unless he plays stupidly bad.
