if you like this camera's quality: http://i44.tinypic.com/11qtqg5.jpg / http://i40.tinypic.com/10qc3r9.jpg

then you should buy the FinePix J27: http://www.fujifilm.com/products/digital_cameras/j/finepix_j27/

it's only 110 euros in malta
you izzzz an azzzhole :DDD

Parent
buy a canon ixus and you won't be disappointed :p
Just spend 200€ more and get this: image: sony_alpha_200

You won't regret it when you are older and look back for the pictures you took with it

lol, that beetle is the same color as my sister's beetle!
Parent
maybe it's hers if she happens to live in kuopio
Parent
nah, she doesn't have white rims as far as i know :D and doesn't have that thing on the roof

Got one old Minolta tele from my father to it, and also bought one 1,7 50mm from amazon for price of 60€. Have made a great deal by far + it's perfect to hold in hand
Parent
you used photoshop? cause the walls behind the car are abit blurry :s
Parent
Used photoshop to get the vintage effect, but the blur is there because of the depth of field. Could easily be possible to put settings so in camera that you won't even see the whole building, like so: http://jani.legendat.org/images/jonttuuu.jpg
Parent
well you shoud have said that in the beginning
Parent
but what I did was working with the colors, it has nothing to do with blurriness, that is an desired effect achieved with camera itself =]

Ask guy in shop what is best for 100 euro or more to 150. I always do that.
i have been making photos and selling cameras in one store every summer (and occasionally during other holidays when they asked me to help in store) in last 4 years. If there are some advices i could give u after those years (from the point of view of the one who actually see unedited photos) it would be: dont even think of getting sony, panasonic or olympus. They have a lot of money in marketing and for that price they are pure shit.
with 150e budget u r aiming for some compact i guess, in compacts I would recommend u two manufacturers: Fuji and Canon (there is also Nikon and Pentax slightly behind them).
Actually, today my parents were buying another camera for "everyday use" because they dont want my sister to manipulate with ours Nikon D40. We bought Fuji JX300, its one of the best compacts out there (its slightly above 150e budget, but we got a special discount because I was working in that store) if I dont count some high end Canon models with 250+ price.
If u r aiming for some SLR camera, ur budget is kinda low. In that area there are only 2 manufacturers worth of investment: Nikon and Canon.
There is also some kind of mixture between SLR and compacts, looks like SLR (bigger body and significant optical zoom, since last year Fuji is making some models with changable objectives) but with compact chip. In this area i would recommend only Fuji (dont buy any sony shit...).
wow thx for the advice!!!

Is there a camera for 150-200€ that can make fast pics? With the one I had (canon exilium z-1000) I took a picture and then I had to wait for like 2/3 secs before I could take another one. It's four years later now, so maybe that is improved? :o

Taking 20 frames or smth with 1 click like a movie would also be nice :p

actually newer compacts are capable of recording pretty decent movies (for example Fuji JZ300 we just bought has possibility of taking 720p@30fps video with sound), but i would forget about making 20 pictures in 1 second (my boss has SLR Canon - kinda older but still better than any compact out there and it takes 8 shots per second, I would say that any compact can be even close to that).
But, with budget of 150-200e there is smth what could bring u a real pleasure to take pictures with - Fuji FinePix S2500HD but I havent tried it yet nor seen pictures from it so cant rly say I recommend it but I have been more than just satisfied with any Fuji compact camera I have had opportunity to try. And there is also smth Fuji cameras have and otheres dont, but it would be long story to describe what it is, to make it short its about ultra sensitive chips which allow u to take shots in dark (without flash) where even human eye cant see a shit (but dont expect ultra high sharp pictures ofc).

ok thanks for the advice!!!

everything for the man who was sitting right in front of me at lan :)
Parent
Ye I remember =)
Parent
actually the worst spot in whole wzzrd :D
Parent
ye, blame the spot... :p

btw: FinePix J250 costs 129 in holland, looks good and got good recommendations.. :o
Parent
yep, 250 is also rly good, basicly any compact from fuji is on the top in that price range
(i dont blame spot, i sucked just like i sux online :P)
