Vent +win7 Problem

Ok guys Google has failed me :(

Got a new comptuer yesterday and its runnign Windows 7 64bit

So far everything has work apart from ventrilo! I have downloaded the 64bit download on their website. I can connect to a server for around 2 seconds and tehn it goes into (not responding Mode)

+ Push to talk doesnt work either :(

Anyone out there know any fixes?

Tried this still no good. Also tried the "set prioity" aswell to realtime/high and still no luck :(

Run it in Compatibility mode for WINDOWS XP like these niggas said.

UPDATE: Just tried using Xfire voice chat and when i loaded that it crashed aswell.

Tried updating my Soundacards and drivers ect. Still no good! Anyone had voice comms problems with win7?

try to speak on ts2 / ts3 / mumble / ull

If it works, adjust ventrilo sensitivity etc

Yup its all setup adn working, but if i open Teamspeak, ventrilo, xfire voice chat. As soon as someone goes to talk the program crashed.

ok so it's from drivers.

Unistall your sound driver, reboot, check for the lastest drivers (certified WHQL). Install, reboot.

What soundcard do you have?

Make sure the output device in Ventrilo options is setup correctly.

cant connect even to servers, same problems tbh :lll running as a admin, in a xp mode, and made portforwarding to nat n stuff

uninstall your drivers and reinstall it worked for me :)

Do you use any vpn, proxy etc ?

Try to turn them off :p
