New world record in amount of spectators on an ice hockey game.
I don't find the sport that intriguing really, it's watchable.

This game is kind of special though, as the Germans started off quite bad but still got a goal with them after the second period. USA managed to tie the game and take it to Sudden Death!

And it's just started.

WHO WILL WIN?

EDIT: OMFG. Germany scored 2-1 after 21 seconds!

Soviets (not even just Russia...) had 19 golds, Canada had 18... Canada is still ranked #1 in the world right now, don't think it's fair to say Soviets were that much better =(

Who cares.
Meanwhile the montreal canadiens upset the 1st seed Washington Capitals and are tied 2-2 against the pinguins and Sidney Crosby.
The Canadiens finished the season 19th and were the last team to make the playoff.
That's pretty impressive
