im studying atm and need some (freak)folk to listen to alongside..liek devendra banhart, eels, laura marling, iron&wine, gregory and the hawk, ...
artists or ytlinks pls, thx

e: dont mind some rly chill ambient or triphop stuff aswell, such as björk/joga, massive attack, portishead..

I find einaudi too melodic to drift out of - prefer working to chopin personally, sometimes rachmaninov

Depends on the subject ;) A really boring subject where you have to merely read an infernally long text and kind-of-get-it = Einaudi rules

For others I prefer to EITHER concentrate on the subject in silence if it's DAMN interesting, or forget about it if I can't force myself to give a shit about it

I'm not a good student or a music expert so my opinions might be fucking stupid
