hey guys,
do you also work with your fingers for little movements L/ R (+ strafe ofc) or for height different areas?
i am not that psycho lowsens type of player (33cm for 360°), i think this mega low sens theory is a bit overrated and makes the game slow and claustrophobic.
claw technique plus a sensitivity that allows you a fast 180° turn with a decent L / R movement of your whole arm should be perfect.
also, anyone uses different X values than Y values? advantage / disadvantage?

i knew someone will try to make jokes about that sentence, but at least its a nice one :D
Using a low sens is not better than using a high one, and vice versa. Depends a lot on your mousepad and mouse.
I use the claw grip and quite small sens, 2.5 @ 450 dpi, but believe me I've tried about every sensitivity there is and I played equally good on all of them. It doesn't matter
*Good for precision aim and micro adjustments of crosshair.
*Bad for taking the mouse off the pad often, sometimes limiting your positioning options and the way you fight battles.
High sens -
*Good for quick reactions, enables you to do easy 180 turns with out having to lose precious milliseconds taking the mouse of the mat.
*Bad for precision and micro aiming.
The Best of both worlds - Mouse Acceleration
Mouse Acceleration is helpfull in some cases. You can use a very low sens with acceleration, this will enable you to make the precision shots and micro adjustments with the crosshair that come with low sens, but then you can also have very quick turning speed when needed due to acceleration.
The major draw back with acceleration is muscle memory is harder to create. With a solid sens no acceleration you can get muscle memory for the distance the mouse is moved regardless of speed.
With acceleration distance and speed both play a role.
:D
You came up with the ET is different argument. Well there is different type of players so keep just talking about aiming instead :)
pmme here on query on IRC
e: for real.. 800 dpi, 3 sens for headshoots :PP
afaik maus uses something somewhere inbetween
