well, i got vista so here *right click mouse* *options* *screen/monitor options* *advanced* *monitor refreshing thingy* *press, 50hz 60hz 65hz 70hz 75hz is avi for me* before u do taht you need change your desktop resolution to same as you use ingame*
ofc the highest is the best since your screen will refresh faster, and more than with lower values. What i got told is, you should use same fps ans your screen Hz to minimize the screen lagging/bugging and make the game as smooth as possible, still i think there might be some changes with 75 Hz and 76 fps than 75Hz and 125 fps, since i cant actually say which is smoother, but sometimes i hit much better with 76 fps :p
ye but doesnt the computer need to work like harder because it is set to refresh faster then usual?... what i mean is does my computer become slow or anything if i set it to 75 or will all things be the same apart from the change from 60 hz to 75
no, actually it's so small difference with computer power compared to your screen bugging, so do these *set Hz 75* */com_maxfps 76* *r_swapinterval 1* and you will do fine :p
