FPS Problem persists

After doing all : http://www.crossfire.nu/?x=journal&mode=item&id=100174

Still the same issue.

I'm guessing it's an ET cfg problem more than anything else. Sharing r_settings would be appreciated, though I somehow doubt it will work D:

If anyone knows any nice tweak for win7 it would be appreciated too. I should have applied all by now, but I could have forgotten some :O

other drivers? with nvidea's drivers I had 50 fps, with omega 125 :PPP

I cannot instal omega drivers it seems. My video card is possibly a tad too old. Thanks anyway.

Thats your problem, impossibly low CPU frequency, ET is primarily CPU based and well, thats not a screamer of a CPU lol

How, nothing talks about how its independent of your CPU speed? Because its clearly not, when I was in the process of overclocking my old E2180, I accidently set the CPU multiplier to x6 so it was running at 1.8GHz and I couldn't pull 125fps completely stable on like radar and grush (this is with my 9600GT). Reset the multiplier so it was at 3GHz and immediately 125fps stable, its most definitely down to the CPU. Of course config tweaking can effect it, modus's config is fairly good at working on a low end PC. Also 1GB of RAM with Win7 is probably part of the issue, Win7 takes up more RAM, you may not have enough RAM to run the game on the system.

You once more failed to read.

I said it used to be fine on this system.

I already had win7, I already had that CPU and I already had 1 gb ram.

It's not that...

I never overclocked my cpu in the first place and still got 76 stable before format.

swapinterval is at 0 :)

It's bugged in ET anyway and I would get 60 fps instead of 30 since I have an LCD screen =)

well, i get these "fps dropdowns" everytime my pc gets updated, just be sure you shut all external programs etc
