I bought mx518 about a month ago. And been using it since then, it's been feeling great all the time eventhough I just noticed setpoint enabled small acceleration to my mousemovements :D
And i thought I had those all off. :o
ps. Changing mouserate to 250 made my mousemovements a lot more stable :o

Problem solved.
Shit setpoint enables it automaticly when u first time install it. :) I just forgot to disable it first time, then i didn't realize it was there :o
You should NEVER install mouse drivers because all they do is add delay, mess up your sensitivity, add acceleration and mess with your mouse feeling.
In conclusion, windows default drivers > all.
Install drivers.
Keep everything at default except for DPI and Hz (450 DPI and 500Hz are the best values).
Update the firmware to the latest NDC (no drif control) firmware.
Uninstall the drivers.
Enjoy.

The Abyssus has no prediction while the Salmosa has prediction.
No prediction is considered more precise.
Just get used to it and you'll notice you have more control over your mouse.
