question to coders of x-fire

is it possible to make such a function, that if i get a message or an answer, but at that moment would be in another tab, so there would be some kind of twinkling message on the tab of this site in the browser, so that there would be no need always to click on this site to look up if I got the new messages. The same goes, if the browser is minimized. Hopefully u got what i mean. The function would be great and make many things easier. It already gonna be used on some sites, and saves from unnesessary clicks

blame plekter for not restoring what fusen did ages ago
you could get xfire messages via RSS feed
now only news/movies etc are avi http://www.crossfire.nu/?x=rss&mode=list and pms dont work :/

most websites have such RSS feeds for news/messages/forum posts/whatever else

but wheres the whole fun of loading site, signing in etc? am not trying to say that rss is useless but actually i can handle browsing by myself :P

Just make a JScript with a timer to change the title every second if you have a new message, not too hard.

what, like on facebook with the "New Message from ____!"? That's actually much more annoying than just one popup alert, or if the title changes once and just stays that way till you click. Oftentimes, the constant title flashing gets distracting =/
