hello :)

here is a friendly tip for all of you. when you pm someone please do not message "hi" and wait the other guy to answer, instead just tell what you have to say and wait until he answer. this saves everyone's time. thank you :)

haha. i've trying to explain that to various users on irc for over a decade. It's hopeless.

I ignore a "hi" in query if nothing else comes after, though...

It's not about that. It's abourt "hello" and then nothing more. Like I post "Hello" in the journal only.. and wait for a comment to see if anybody is reading it. And then I edit the post to put in the actual content..

I GET 90 QUERIES EVERYDAY, AND I CBA SAYING "HI" or "what do you want" to every one of you, so just spit it out and i'll answer you unless you are asking something really stupid like "do i get ban if i cheat?"

He didn't say "hi". He typed a question. And so what if it's too late. And how can someone know if it's urgent... Well, that can be included in the message. But then it's your call since you have read it. Finally, it's just internets so how urgent and important can it be?

Usually the guys I pm don't want to talk to me anymore after I say my subject. But if they first reply "hi", then they have to continue talking :)
