uhm IRC is free. always was, always will be.

Or any other decent IRC client. I really can't see why mIRC is so popular, there's nothing special about it.

Irssi is awesome, although I find the Windows builds ugly.. And the server I had a Linux shell on is geborken, so I'm using (su)XChat in the meantime.

Still can't understand why mIRC is popular.. I mean, it's actually a really bad client, needing heavy modding to make it decent.

I cba to use a mouse to navigate in a program that serves text only.
