like always big sry for my english xD
Im using HP P1130 CRT (its same as Dell P1130 FD Trinitron) at this moment and its very cool (colours, contrast) but little big ;p. In near future I want to buy decent LCD, I mean I want to feal like on CRT, not like on cheap shity LCD. For what? Fast games, movies, other things x).
I think about:
HP ZR24w (!)
HP LP2475w
Dell U2410
Can you say smth about them? Maybe smth better in similar price?

what is also important when choosing an lcd is input lag
U2410 seems to have problems, too.
Don't know the first monitor you mentioned.
For games there are better monitors and for movies there are different, better monitors, too!
You don't want to feel like on a cheap shit LCD? You can spend 2000+ and it will still feel like shit (contrast, input lag, etc) :)
On a good TFT colours are really better than on CRTs, but gamers usually don't care about that.
I heard its little better than two lasts :P
Which one? ;]
If I will buy expensive shit, then yes. But mostly if smth cost around 500 euro I can think its way better than another thing for 200 euro + Im searching info what should I buy.
I dont care only about games ;]. TN always gonna be shity in compare to decent CRT (my current for example). Im aiming for PVA or IPS.
For games: If you can, stay with CRT. Otherwise, either a FAST 22" 120Hz (most probably TN), or a random cheap monitor - maybe Samsung 2494HM (also TN I believe).
For movies either get an Eizo Foris FX2431 (which is 2-3 times your budget but has acceptable blacks/contrast and supports 24Hz + has all the important connections) or just get a real HD TV.
All I'm saying is: You can get rather big TFTs at affordable prices, but especially for gaming there will be noticeable drawbacks.
For your price range you can get monitors that are decent for most tasks, but none of them excels at anything.
None can change aspect ratios as good as a CRT, none has deep, real blacks like a CRT, none is as fast as a CRT > really: don't expect to get a TFT that feels like a CRT. You will have to make compromises.
If you haven't already, check out the monitor reviews on PRAD ;)
