I found this really nice link about flatscreens, gaming monitors and some public relations bullshit I got myself caught in myself. You can find the full article here.

TLDR:
* dynamic contrast ratio = bullshit, never ever use it to judge a monitor :)
* sony has good screens :D

well ok there're barely any screens able to deliver <20ms between any colour switch but with RTC(overdrive) on most fast screens it's 5ms max and average being 2-3 ms with RTC error being so miserable(up to 5% or so) that ghosting coming with it is almost unnoticeable
and 120hz mode allows to lower responce time and rtc error percentage even more
And im talking about monitors, not TV screens. Comparing those is retarded since they're totally different
