btw tested sounds: the gayest sound has winamp. iTunes and WMp have both great sound, but the difference is from my experience, iTunes has less dynamic sound, thats why i finally decided for WMP.
ps: never tested foobar, maybe its even greater then wmp

winamp provides the worst sound believe me :)
I use wmp + srs audio sandbox, havent heard a besser sound quality before.

ich erzähl nur was ich in diversen tests gelesen und selber getestet hab.
Winamp liefert einen schlechteren Sound, dieser lässt sich sogar nur unangenehm mit dem DFX-Programm verbessern, wenn du den Klang nach anderen Playern vergleichst. Möglicherweise liegts an den Ohren :D
Bzw, was ich benutze:
1. WMP as player
2. SRS Audio Sandbox als Sound Booster
3. Sony MDR V700 DJ as Headset

also ich hör eig wenig musik über kopfhörer sondern über boxen :s

vllt liegts daran das ich ein pretty decent verstärker hab aber eig hab ich nie soundfehler oder rauschen etc. mit winamp

ich weiss was du meinst, hatte früher die Musik über den Verstärker laufen lassen. Dieser erzeugt einen etwas anderen Sound, so dass der Qualitätsunterschied bei verschiedenen Playern nicht wirklich spürbar ist. Ich denke, erst mit einem Headset werden die Töne besser hörbar, und man stellt einen Unterschied fest. Zu meinem headset: spinnste? :D Ist doch ein grossartiger headset für die Musik. Hab mir diesen vor 3 Jahren geholt ;)
