As I just posted in the missile journal, I'm considering taking my map, Scherbius (I cannot remember where that name came from) into a proper beta-test phase - it's been sitting on my HDD untouched for about 3 years now.

Well, I made the map back in 2006 or so, fiddled with it a bit more in 2007, then I mostly went inactive, except LAN admin stuff, and I never got it to a state I was happy with.

I nearly released it for the CPC2 mapping contest (the one Bremen won), which tells you roughly when it was created.

lol - I never knew that was even publicly available. You can try it if you like - it's still very unpolished (I think some of the scripting isn't in yet) and I have some ideas for changes I want to make.

Once I actually look at it again I'll probably decide rip the map apart and use only the bits I like, to be honest. The first and last sections are ok, but the links between them are pretty poor and need to be redesigned, imo.

do you mind if i host it on the cb matchserver and tell ppl to test it out? you could get some nice feedback i guess, unless you don't need that at the moment :)

Just remember to set the affinity to 1 core only in the task manager process tab and you'll be fine with win7 :).
