mx518 & Zowie G-TF

Hello everyone,

I'm tired of my copperhead after using it for 4years and want to test something else :). So yesterday I bought a image: 18aPic1B794984078_zz_logitech_mx518 and a image: g-tf for 26.75€ (incl. shipping costs) (some dude sold them both new on a selling site).

It should arrive in a few days, but since I want to test it out immediatly when it has arrived, I want to know what settings I should use.

I'm using windows 7 64bit.

* I downloaded this accelfix http://razerblueprints.net/index.php/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,99/topic,8672.0/ but I got a strange error at startup after using it so I resetted it to the "WindowsDefault.reg", use the accelfix or not?
* Install setpoint driver or not? I know back in the days there were alot of complains about it.. dunno if there still are complains now..
* What DPI/Hz should I use with this mouse?

Some other advices?

Grtz

why shouldn't I use setpoint? So the standard DPI is 400? Or do I have to use some other proggy to apply it?

heard the program has some delay. and a lot of ppl complain about different sens/accel w/e every time they (re)boot their pc. dunno if it's true tho

hmm ok, gonna do some googling on that :)

Setpoint blows, 1. it also messes with your keyboard, when I bought my mx518 (I have a logitech canada 210 keyboard) it suddenly wouldn't let me press 2 buttons at the same time, called customer service and asked them why, and they were like "so you want to play video games, but setpoint is not a driver for video games)

Tell Setpoint to go hug a tree and modify Razer drivers to work with your mx518, there's a tutorial on crossfire how to do that, never experienced any problem with that
my mx518 died today :(
read my review :D
