Journals
was trying to search old journal about cheating and how nothing is done about it in ET but caught opening this one since its about Finest and I knew it would be fun to read since it most likely included bunch of flamewars.

But atleast we think you're really cool cos u smoke so much weed man :-)
if I remember correctly someone#1 made a journal about someone#2 cheating and #1 provided a screenshot in the journal. then in the screenshot you could see #1 using wallhack. #1 didnt notice it himself but some crossie pointed it out.
same thing happened here.
also this would mean that they'd have to ban maus aswell, and honestly, do you see this happening any time soon? :P
if youre rebuilding with little less belgians I might be avi !

PS: it's time for you and nizou to make a comeback^^
I could quote Feuersturm;
"Do you still have any desire to start playing competitively again? Do you ever miss playing?
Sometimes I get into these nostalgic discussions about how things were, who were playing and when, what was going on, what happened and what didn't et cetera, but I don't feel any need to put myself through the clan gaming thing again. It was both exhausting and rewarding and fit well into my life back then, but these days I could not spare the time or interest to play competitively."
on the other hand I would like to start playing again seriously, maybe achieve something but then again I know how much its a waste of time and how committed you need to be in order to play for some good team. maybe in the fall/winter when I have time. then again, if I have time I will probably start my world conquest since my dream is to see the world and theres a lot to see :P
so no random fun games and an official here and there? at least, opposed to some certain other opponents you were fun to play against back then :D
but yeah, I dont feel the excitement if im not playing with good players vs good players.
and to get into that situation you need to be active, close to your potential.
I only learned to aim at the very end of my "career" but I had already quit playing in teams so this is probably what I want to achieve if I start playing again. reach my potential, gotta have goals!
plus - for you the other reason besides it to make a comeback would be, to evolve? ;)
makes sense, I think quite alot of people feel the same about it, but I believe you'd do just fine against most teams nowadays, even in semi-activity :D
and about my aim, this was 2 days ago: http://dec.pp.fi/rettop2.avi (was kinda funny cuz I was only one alive and they had docs and everyone was speccing me)
I can reach such aim from time to time but theres too much fluctuation / instability when only playing randomly.
but as you said, 'when playing randomly', 2-3 nights a week works like a charm :P
(do you happen to know what has happened to nizou?)
Or is he totally fed up with ET, because everyone was raging over his last(and only low-quality movie)? ^^
he knew he was bit sloppy with it but just wanted to finish it. also we knew the music choice would be bad for the mainstream audience but the movie wasnt made for the mainstream :P
(wasn't the music sth like hammerfall or freedom call or that type? actually the likes he used to use in his very first movies? actually prefer that type of music over most of what's being used nowadays^^ :D
but sometimes individual skill is already enough(it's not like 'top'-teams only differ in activity and as a result in skill^^)
secondly you must commit to some degree. you cant say I wont be around for a month if the team is preparing for lan or some 'big' online event. say I'm doing some physical work for whole day and get home from 22pm-3am, at this point I wouldnt be able to play to the fullest anymore (nor even make it back during pracc time if it gets late), I would have to start making arrangements.
Mmh i see what you said there. But I still wonder, when teams say they dont prac, is it because they want to act tough they can win without praccing, or they are actually telling the truth?
'back in the days' active teams pracced 3-5 days a week. before those teams who pracced a lot got the edge, but now when no one can find games easily, its more common for teams not to pracc. people are stuck with the oldschool meaning of activity which was 3-5 days a week while its maybe 0-3 days a week today. in a nutshell, people say they dont pracc, while in reality its more normal not to pracc as much as back in the days
and it was a typo, get over it if you can xDD
Get over it please.
a hobby might do the trick :D
@rhand: just stop it :P
(I'm pretty relieved that there are at least some reasonable persons online today on cf, since it makes this workday for me much more enjoyable, colleague is ill, so i can't continue my project, and just can do some reading in the meanwhile, not exactly exciting *g*)
