Punkbuster problem #21392

Well , my mate wants to start with ET , i gave him my folder with all the necessary files but : he gets kicked by pb for the following reason:

Server Disconnected - PunkBuster kicked player 'Musago' (for 0 minutes ) ... RESTRICTION : Service Communication Failure : PnkBstrA.exe

I havent got that , but he has it ;(
why , oh why god , are u punishing new ET players ;< He has been...so NEW and interested in ET :(((

halp him pls!

looks like Punkbuster doesn't get started because it isn't installed right or antivirus blocks it

try some different ways of starting ET, loading etpro, execing cfg, vid_restarts and stuff.. for me it helped to start ET as an admin, load etpro, load cfg, do vid_restart and then i could try connecting :L
