E7500 or AMD 6000+

Hello crossfire!

I have two opportunities to upgrade my computer, and i decided to ask you which is better.

So, I either buy my friends old AMD 6000+ & 2Gb 667Mhz DDR2 for only 15€.
But if i do this i also have to buy a new motherboard (60,90€) and harddrive (46,90€).
This costing a total of: 122,8 €

Or i just upgrade my old CPU (E2120) into a new E7500, that costs 124.90 €

So, which one do you think is the better way?

Hmm yeah it costs only 80€ :]
Do you think i could also play a bit newer games with it ? (starcraft 2 :P)

ofc you could...i have it,clocked it from 2.8 to 3.5ghz although even 2.8 is enough for such games

Just upgrade your old CPU, because you would have to reinstall everything if you changed your motherboard. This is because Windows sucks.

When I upgraded the mobo of my XP computer I just ended up reinstalling after that shit of an operating system bluescreened every five seconds.

start your pc with your windows cd and try the repair option. NOT the repair console, because this tool doesnt exist :)

ei jaksa alkaa forkkaa tota vanhaa, ku pitäis laittaa uudet ajurit ku vaihtais intel -> amd :E

Prosessori ei vaadi ajureita, mutta Windows ei tykkää jos vaihtaa emolevyn ilman uudelleenasennusta..
