im hoping brink or some other game will be as good as et but really there not alot of other games that can match it

i didnt play any wars since a month or something and before that 1 war a week... I just play on a jaymod public when i want to play ET but that isnt much tho.

Just find something better to do. I haven't played anything but mixes (about 10 max) in ET for the past 5 months. Only hop on a public whenever broedel and Brogma are going for one.

coz its best game i played sofar! ^^ no other Egoshooter is good as ET! :(

Too bad Wolfenstein wasnt just ET with bit better graphics and new maps so i would play that ofc.! ^^

Taken a few breaks over the years, but I always come back after a while. Haven't played ET competitively in over a year (or about that long), just a few random mixes. I've fallen back into playing a map or two on an etpub/jaymod server when I feel like raging some noobs in ET.

Competitively right away but mixwars & pubgames sometimes = probably never...

Gonna stop playing in teams when i go to uni, since i will have other stuff to do, but its fucking addictive! Can see myself playin loads of mixes when im back home :D

Its like why quit something you like. If you still like to play the game then why quit.
So basicly the answer to your question would be "when I dont enjoy playing anymore then I will quit"

Playing it for 5 years with bigger breaks but, sometimes I feel like playing so I get on vent and if we start playing once, I spend the whole week playing again :)

I never plan on quitting, I just play when I have time time. I've 'quit' for 6 months, a month, a few weeks randomly since 2004, but always come back. At the moment I've played about 2 hours of bio in the last 3-4 weeks, give it a couple more weeks and I'll be nerding alot more again. Want to quit by the time I get a job and move in with my gf though.

I play for 6years, but probs like 2.5 years actively only. I had a lot of breaks for various reasons, either RL stuff or other games such as CS:S or CoD4 that caught my attention. Nowadays I don't play much ET anymore, since a nice guy told me about Quake Live and I'm trying my best there atm. I will prolly never quit ET fully, when there will be competition I'll be there. Hopefully I will have enough time for ET even when I go the university, time will tell.

Dont really see anyone really quiting, its just rather ppl going inactive and when they get the spark for the game again they'll start playing again. Simple as.. Ppl dont waste so much time to something if they dont like it and thus they cant get rid of it so easily either :P
