compatbility problem

When im starting my ET I cant set my Gamma higher as like 1.3 or something but when im changing my compatbility to windows service pack 3 the colors are very weird .. and there will be smth spammed in the console " SetDeviceGammaRamp"" someone can help me out?

Don't change compatibility to windows pack 3.

2 play with win7 u have todo sp2 so why sp3?
