A possible ban of vuvuzela

For those, that have been watching the World Cup so far, knows what the vuvuzela is. Well... now, World Cup organising committee chairman Danny Jordaan says that a ban might be incoming:

Personally, I have given it a chance, because it's a part of the South African football culture; but it is really too much. I also can't see why spectators would bring vuvuzelas to matches, which South Africa is not playing.

if banning is not possible, TV stations should lower the outdoor sound to a minimum so that you only hear the commentator and no sound from the crowd...
Thats like banning engine noises in F1.
