night+urtier: whats so nice about them? just achievements.. luck i say, luck!! (although urtier really is experienced, and has brain :D dunno why i like him so much :D)

Mystic - overated

Gav - Good strafer but there's tons of people who can do equally as good, if not better...

Night + urtier are both good players with a lot of experience, are able to lead a team and win.

mystic wasn't back in the day :) by far one of the best aimers - go seek out EC XI

The thing is all the things we expect as a given nowadays - even the lousiest aimer can circle jump, knows how to spam on supply, knows where to put the cans etc. These things weren't a given back then... what you're looking for is not the fact that everyone else caught up - but who stood out & did something different, something better.

True, he's way too overated oLolOL. Just too many new guys come on here and keep praising him as if he was the best guy (and still is, apparently) when there are plenty of guys who keep impressing the scene, even newschoolers. But who's to say some don't cheat :D

mystic - just pick random OLD game and watch him - his movement is like dancing.. so fluent, nice to watch.

night+urtier - used to be best and still, they never lost they experience.

best rifle nowadays? most of them are shit standing on spawn shooting random rifles into air so - hard to tell.

old school - many good player -> better competetion -> better performance. more teamplay, 6v6!

Just watch any demo of mystic before the february of 2006. See how he plays in supply as axis for example, practically no selfkills at all and he wins every duel no matter who is facing him. He is a bit overhyped as an oldschool aimer, players like jauhis and jafo were almost on the same level aimwise, but they never got the same amount of credit as mystic.

mystic's aim was "ahead of its time", he raped a lot of face. this was more to do with his gamesense and positioning, though obviously good aim does help. obviously these days everyone has good fps + mouse + mousemat and generally better aim so it stands out less

perfo has pretty good movement too

personally i'd take urtier in my team over night

wiaderko is by far the best "newschool" rifle, he carried YYT so hard at CIC7, it could have gone much worse for them without him. i'd say wiaderko & xylos are the two best rifles by far right now

wasn't really only about mystic's aiming - people like anubis whined how he is camp only etc even back then. He just has this kinda gamesense surviving while being annoying somewhere on the map no1 expects him to be. while his team does the job ^_^ Always wondered how he survives so long on fake radar as fops - no1 seems to shoot at him :)

mystic - awesome player who had a lot of luck in his best actions so he did many impossible actions + he is very oldschool

sqzz - did 2 or 3 epic docruns while being shooted by 3-4 enemies. same story like Lepari. imo kot has awesome movement.

night+urtier - playing on the highest lvl for 5 years and never fail.

best riffle? who cares nowadays after changing global.cfg? but XyLos or wiaderko or Ati or gifty or zMk

biggest diffrent between newschool and oldschool?
theres no freelancing players nowadays

hmmm dunno after CIC tMoe played shit. after changing cfg they lost their teamplay and gamesense so i cant say anything good about Kreins performance after changing global.cfg .
