Steelseries Kinzu

Howdy,

I've been thinking about buying the image: kinzuuuu because my image: G5 doesnt really satisfy me anymore. Its not really comfortable for my hands.
Also, the Kinzu is way cheaper(around €25,-) then the image: razer-deathadder which Ive also been thinking about. I played with that one for a short time on lan(tried the one from Netherlandsremy/adeto) and it felt really nice.
But the Kinzu has no side buttons, thats a pretty big downside since Im used to have my selfkill and my stoprecord binds on my mouse.

So, if anyone here has a Kinzu, I would appreciate if you could tell me what you think about it :)

hmm like 2 months. I have never had a mouse with sidebuttons but i guess it is just habit :P also i selfkill in g and set arty in mouse3, dont need sidebuttons :) its a good purchase

Like butchji already said, the mouse got an insane amount of positive accel. I have tested it with different settings and mousemats and it was not possible to remove it.

If you like the samll size and cheap price you should have a look at the Razer Salmosa or Microsoft's IMO or WMO 1.1.

I know how you guys test everything but people said a G500 ain't a good mouse either because it's laser.. but to me it's the best mouse I've ever used, I prefer it above my deathadder ;)

The G500 belongs to this new generation of laser mice such as the Xai and as far as I know they perform quite well. All this laser is shit talking was about the Copperhead and G5 and those 2 were really bad.

K I don't know about G5 or copperhead, if it's true that this laser is different maybe the flame is ok..but still isn't comfort the most important about a mouse? Why do so many people still pick intelli ? :) I've got one myself and it's a good mouse imo, though I prefer my G500 for some reason :)

do not agree on the better preforming.. My G500 is way better imo :) And I got both so I don't base my decision on specs or whatsoever.. Pure testing

i sayed most of them :p i heared G9x is a good mouse nearly unskipable best laser mouse atm since g500 and g9x shares the same sensor i can believe its a good mouse :) besides g500 is a 2010 mouse the intelli series are kinda old you cant really compare them both ;)

I'm not saying that I'm just pointing out that your part of the it outpreforms a lot is relative :)

I'd agree that I'd rather play with a comfy intellli than a buggy and uncomfy copperhead :)

But I'd pick my G500 over anything these days :)

Choosing the proper mouse is based mainly on your type of grip.

Finger/Claw -> Abysuss or WMO
Palm -> DeathAdder or Intellimouse 3.0

The Kinzu is shit by the way because it has a lot of acceleration.

as urtier already mentioned get imo or wmo i actually tested the salmosa didnt like it couldnt aim that well.wmo is so far the best mouse i got and it costed me only fucking 7 euri's precise light + cheap what else do you want :p only downsize is it doesnt have sidebuttons but who needs that you have a keyboard right

i could but i already know he'll say it has +ve acceration & that he dislikes the side buttons

for me the acceleration makes it literally unplayable. if you can cope with that sure, but a shitty sensor is a MASSIVE fucking flaw so i don't get how you can suggest it is the best mouse

I don't notice any positive accel, and from what I remember him saying about it he never mentioned positive accel, I don't go around testing these things so maybe it has I dunno, The side buttons he said are placed weird and easy to press or something along those lines.

Xai is good. No flaws in it, no accel, no skipping, no whatever. And you can customize like everything. Yes, it's laser. Who cares?

Only con is that it's quite expensive.

Go with the Xai, like the dude above me said it is expensive, but it's a great mouse although haven't said that, it just started cutting out on me in the last few days after 8 months of use.

Gonna RMA it and get a replacement, still the best mouse i've used so far.
