win7 share doesnt work

hi, i currently want to share some folder from my "home-server" (win 7 prof x86) with the whole local network.
i´m in the same workgroup
i have sharing enabled
i can acess the public folders

but when i try to open the shared folder "test" it says i dont have the rights for doing this.. i turned off password protected sharing and i have in "premissions" full control for everybody..

any ideas?

did u also gave a full control for ur homegrup? mabye that stupid, but when this one option was missing in my sharing folders, it simply didnt work :p

hmm where can i do this?

i could fix it by giving the user which shares the stuff a password.. so now ialways have to enter a password when connecting to the shared folders.. but atleast it works :S

where u giving premissions to folder which u wanna to share :p just choose also ur home group to full premission and mabye like that iwl work :p i was fighting with this crap like whole day, before i was able to share some folders with some other pcs in our LAN

strange thing is that i dont have this homegrup option on my server (but on my laptop i have). i´m in the same homegroup with the serevr as with the laptop :S

also i would have computers in the network which dont use windows and cant join a homegroup :P

but it works now anyway.. but iwth password protected sharing (123456 ftw!)
