oh why hello crossies,
I am old & wise etc, but I dont really have a clue about laptops. And since I kindaaaa decided that I need one, or rather I just want one, I was goin to ask /cf/ for their help.
I'm open for any suggestions... no matter if you just tell me "acer sux" or even name a special laptop I should buy. Well, would it should be able to do/have:
-hdmi to connect it to teh tv I dont have yet
-able to play hd movies
-play ET with it (reasonable fps)
-teh usual stuff
crossfire, halp me!
e: I dont really have a budget, but anything within 500-800 euros should be ok

e: the whole face of that bigtitted whore is photoshopped, fucking cumhead
any machine with an i5 or i7 processor will be good enough to play games (probably better than a pre i5 desktop!) but one thing ive lately found out:
ati windows drivers suck so much balls that they only support up to 60Hz on external displays so if you want to be able to plug in to a good gaming monitor and get more than that you're goin to have trouble cause the newer versions of gfx drivers don't always work with the laptop chipsets..
aside from that i got an acer aspire at massively reduced price cause it was "faulty open box" all i had to do was run chkdsk and it was magically fixed :D
e: but ye nvidia cards would be better if you find a good deal!
that would kinda suck, cause I want to get a 100hz tv aswell and use the laptop to play hd movies etc, so its a good hint.
and I think I laik...
If it has to actually be able to do something: HP, Sony Vaio or Asus
