He isnt really good as a spits, he's better on the wing since he is a hard worker. So you kinda failed a bit :o).

i think vd wiel should stay in. Someone said gio should be replaced with Boulahrouz. Imo that wouldn't be a good idea. Their playstyles are so different.. Boulahrouz is good in defending tasks. But Gio is constantly pushing forward, trying to pass usefull balls to mids or wings. Atleast from my point of view.
Besides we missed some crucial chances :<
