they got there because they earned by winning matches.. (not science). Paraguay played well in the Qualify here in South America, and they really earn the spot in the quarter-finals by winning their group and now they defeat Japan!

since they both suck(ed), but some teams sucked even more this time :L top8 is actually pretty far and with skill both of those teams have usually they should not be there :P

i've only see the additional time since i was doing something else and asked if it was worth to watch this game; someone says no.
but dont take on them the problem of the horrible games in the WC, this was one of them, but either you play good and go back at home or you fight to get to the next stage by defending and not attacking.. its football, everything can happen.
I agree with Portugal and England (unlucky draws, once again, putting #2 in the world against #3 in the world was just really really unfortunate admittedly) but the other 3... no.

neither Italy nor Cameroon played well in their groups!
Denmark did well but when they faced Japan wasnt their day.
