Microsoft Intelli Mouse

Howdy,

I've been searching for a new gaming mouse for some time now since my old one, the image: G5 doesnt really satisfy me anymore. Its not really comfortable for my hands.
Ive made a journal some time ago about the image: kinzuuuu but I got alot of negative comments about it so Im not going to buy that one anymore.

I've read really good things about the image: Microsoft-IntelliMouse-Explorer-3-0-0 and Ive been looking on some sites to buy it.

What it comes down to is this:

But now I have a problem, since there is this site which sells three different types of it.
The Microsoft Intellimouse Optical for €29,99, the Microsoft Intelli Mouse, Explorer 3.0 for € 34,99 and the Microsoft Intelli Mouse, Optical 1.1 (5 Pack) for € 109,00.

Im not going to buy the last one since Im not going to spend over 100 euros for a mouse. But the sites I visited didnt really gave me a clear view on which mouse is the best. Thats why Im making a journal here to see if anyone on crossfire has one or ever used one and what they think about it.

Answers are appreciated :)



Edit: Im using 1.9sens on 400DPI atm with my G5, so I guess Im using lowsens with pretty low DPI :o)

die kinzu ligt wel goed in de hand, heb hem in de winkel uitgeprobeerd! :D

maar over die andere kan ik geen oordeel geven, mij lijkt: die van 35 euro is niet zo duur enzo en (volgens mij) is die lazer toch hetzelfde

It's a good mouse because very light, but if you use low-mid sens then you should buy razer deathadder.

Yes, that wont work with ms 1.1
and 3.0 has the same sensor afaik

I've heard that the Microsoft Intelli Mouse, Explorer 3.0 is rly good! and I myself use mx518 (used for mx series mouses always) and they still satisfy!

I guess those are the real retail versions with boxes etc instead of the cheap (but the same) system builder versions.

You can easily use the Intelli with a 500hz usb patch for that sens. Else just stick to the mx518 or DA.

that usb patch, is that something I need to download? Im sorry, but Im a total noob with this stuff. Only bought my G5, cuz a mate of mine who also played ET had a G5 :P

With the Intellis I'd highly suggest you to download it. It's just two clicks and it's running. Google for USBRate.exe, it's one of the working programs (atleast on XP, no idea about win7).

For the mx518 and DA you don't need it as it's already built in their drivers.
