ive read good comments for the SX ppl have paid around 500 and they are supersatisfied with it. SX got sued by Fender itself or something for making awesome replicas.

no what i mean is SX made a bunch of stratocaster replicas a while ago and because of how legit the copy looked, fender started to interfere now they changed a few details..and well yea..
google says SX strat > squier strat (squier = fender's)

i know that this is not a stratocaster on my pic

rumors say that that sx guitars are produced by ibanez itself or at least a subcompany but actually its a chinese product. for the usual price (100-200) people rate these guitars from good to excellent

i suppose im gonna give it a try

ah yes, squires are really cheap. practically knockoff brands tbh.

also, keep in mind when determining which to buy: there's a big problem with most epiphone guitars i've seen. the G-string always goes out of tune. idk why but it's every fuckin epiphone guitar is like that.

the SX is probably a more shred-distortion-orientated guitar, but whammy bar is missing ;( i heard good things about epiphones, not that expensive like gibsons, but still good (got a gibson SG myself, awesome stuff :D).

it really depends on what playing style you prefer, but i would go for the les paul

and its not actually a stratocaster body, its bolt-on :)

ya the epiphone LP custom is rly nice to play, strings are not as hard as you couldn´t press properly easy on them, also with those humbuckers it got an excellent sound. as stated my former best friend owns it for over 3 years now i love it <3

shit, it seems i failed and demented is right :P

bolt-on refers to the way the neck is attached to the body, i had to missread it somewhere (my music shop page fails :O).
but still the body is only similar to a strat shape, but it's not copy-paste the same. it's rather a Jackson's Soloist style.

i was not talkin about an AMP, but a sound modifier. i got this:

if u get a decent preamp, the choise of an amp isn't really that important :D but ofc marshall = win
