Cd-key problem :

I've reinstalled ET, but i can't play due to an error:

Empty Cd-key not allowed on this server.

Please someone help me, and i'm sorry if this is an old or noobish question, but i've been away from the scene for quite some time.

What message do u get in return? Most likely a firewall problem.

When i type in the command,Cdkey Registration request sent to Guidauth master at...

Then,when trying to connect, the same: Empty Cd-key not allowed on this server.

How long have u waited? It takes up to 30-40 seconds.

1. Start ET via the normal ET.exe (important)
2. Host an ET server and activate PB.
3. Type /pb_cdkeyreg again and wait for the confirmation message
4. Close ET and set the etkey to read only

Have u tried to remove the etkey? (restart ET afterwards)

There is no etkey on my folder, it gets deleted due to the lack of a pbkey or something

What's ur PB Version? Check it via \PB_Ver.

It's most likely ur firewall. Take care following ports aren't blocked. (Windows firewall, additional software, router)

It also keeps saying that the etmain/etkey was deleted due to empty cd key

Download etkey from internet ;) btw if u wanna be pro search mAus etkey.
