Unthinkable - wat?

What was the movie frigging about? It was nice to watch, but Iwas expecting some kind of explanation, like why did he make those bombs for, what happens, what is the meaning of Brody getting out safe with Yusef's kids? This movie's ending was just shit...
Anyone care to explain?

movie was more about the interrogator, samuel l jackson, imo
im pretty sure that the government would have tortured the children for real but normal people who watched the movie could ask theirself how far they would go ^^
and the bombs, ye its just about the way the americans treat the muslims i guess
like he said "they spit on it" etc.
