thing is, i wana put a film onto a disk i have (DVD-R, 4.7gb), but i cant get it too work on my or any other dvd player... Can anyone help? :D

I hope you didn't burn it straight as .avi and try to play it on a player that doesn't support that?

Yea i did, but ive got a new dvd for a new start. What do i need to do, and what programs do i need to use?

Most burning tools have a movie function, shouldn't be too difficult to figure that out.

Just use ConvertXtoDVD for encoding and burning. It never failed for me, when I had similar problems.

Burn it as either .iso or use a burner that has a DVD making function (aka making a AUDIO_TS map and a VIDEO_TS map). most burners should have that function somewhere btw, or just dload DVD images instead of avi's and shiz!
