burning software (.nrg files)

guten tag die herren, normally i use cdburnerxp but it doesnt support .nrg files (or what ever the files are called which are made by nero). now i have to use magiciso trial to convert them to .iso and burn them. Is there any free burning software which support nero files + bootable discsc + making .iso´s ?
Or should i just get nero10 ? I heard its pretty heavy and uses alot of ressources (when i installed it i had smth like 2 new services & process runing from the startup and when putting them to "manual" nero didnt work anymore).
