dude grow up, 7 of those 9 yellow cards were more than deserved. Even a few chances where a red card could have been possible given other circumstances.

he reffed well, he had to take 100 decision and only made a mistake in that deflected free kick which should have been a corner (and not a goal kick), and that yellow card for the kungfu that should have been a red, but i understand he gave him yellow because he didn't wanna fuck up the final after 30 minutes only.
mate, im scottish, i watched a game full of dutch hacking / diving . also watched a lot of spanish diving, yes, but the point here is, why blame the ref for ONE decision when you should maybe take some ownership of the fact that the team should have been 3-0 up by the time the "incident" took place? football is all about what if's, always was, always will be, at the end of the day, take it on the chin like a man, not like some bitch.
Should have been red for Bommel, Jong so he indeed was a pretty bad referee. He was keen to give out yellow cards, but he kept his red card in his pocket way too long.
Indeed - from what I saw (which admittedly was only about two thirds of the match) he was doing a really good job in ridiculous conditions, with fouls (particularly from the dutch) all over the place.
Indeed, he managed to balance the game that both teams nearly destroyed by commiting fouls and diving. It's an unbelievably hard task that he had to deal with, but he was strict and didn't show any sign on being insecure in any of his decisions. In the end he's only human as well and he'd have gotten yelled at no matter what call he would have made.
