Features:
• 100% stable optical mouse developed for gaming by HeatoN
• Ergonomic designed right hand gaming mouse
• 1.5 mm lift-off distance due to custom developed ZOWIE-lens
• Improved mouse wheel system
• 500/1,000/2,000 DPI adjustment
• 1,000Hz USB report rate
Looks like they've made one similar to DeathAdder shape and the other similar to IME3.0 shape...
Probably better than most "gaming mice" but at this stage I wouldn't say it comes anywhere near dethroning DA/WMO/IME from the top being a good choice of mouse. Waiting for the sensor to be tested still.
Thoughts?
EDIT: LMAO@COST
"The MSRP is 59,90 EUR. Availability is mid August. :)"
nevermind

Perhaps it's just me, but the DA seems to break down easily.
Reminds me a lot of the newer SteelSeries mice (Kinzu, Xai). Only difference is that this Zowie one here is ergonomical for right handed ppl, while the SS mice are symmetrical.
Gotta wait on some crazy Esreality ppl to test it first though. Best shape doesn't help if the sensor skips :)
I HOPE IT GLOWS! Else it won't sell!
Edit: Costs are way too high again. Same with the Xai :-(
But I'll be checking out the mousefeet first, main reason I'm still using the DA.
And I think there's some Razer mouse that costs even around 100 Euro (Wireless though).
Good thing my old IMO 1.1 can be replaced by just spending 15 Euro max :-P
main problem with DA is getting the old ones with 3.0 sensor
They did the same with deathadder. I switched to DA, but once the wire died I got myself a replacement and guess what they rereleased it with a new suckier sensor with more dpi.
Went back to mx518 and I doubt I'll change again. I really loved razer products, but I havent been able to buy the same mouse twice in a row so I'm done with them. Logitech has always made products which are made to last, most of their products I used lasted +2 years which is 4 times longer then the average razer mouses i bought. Razer should really get their quality up.
Just look at the Roccat Kone, it can even glow in different colors and you can control that in the driver. How awesome is that!
but the mouse is really good even for a laser mouse
(Atleast in that moment, no idea if the feeling stays that good over several hours of playing)
And judging from reading a couple of reviews the sensor seems to be really good.
59,90 EUR. - is that somewhat a big price?
mx518 in still costs around 50 EUR, and copperhead around 70 D:
EC ONLY
AT ALL
What a load of crap. Reminds me of SteelSeries when they said that they researched the shape of the perfect mouse for 12 months. The profit margins on gaming mouses must be well over 200%
lol
