i want to order something @ dell from america the thing is they wont ship it over here
luckily i have relatives over there :>
is there a way to send the thingy (laptop) to germany without paying the customs? (e.g. as a birthday present :D)

Let them unpack laptop and remove all the protection films so it actually looks "used". If anyone is actually asking why it's shipped you could still say that you forgot it at their place or something, or that it's a used laptop as a present.

Get the DVDs and all the rest in another package a few days later.

No idea if that actually works though but it sounds pretty good! :-D

Had a problem with a PS3 i bought in the States, although it says 'World Wide Warranty' they insisted that it went back to Sony in the USA, not sure about Dell though.
