Hostels/Cheap Places AMS

Got a few friends of mine taking a trip to Amsterdam next week for the weekend, want to know if there are any cheap/good places there and if so, the names of them. Prices would be a great bonus too. Already heard bob's hostel was a good place, but not sure if they'll be flying in early enough.

go on a camping place! its cheaper! There is one at the metro station gaasperplas, its like 15 minutes from the city. we stayed there for like 3 weeks and it was awesome =DD

i stayed at the hans brinker ho(s)tel. pretty basic. really close to the center.

I was at bobs hostel 2 weeks ago and I dearly recommend it....if you want to just chill on the couch and smoke weed its the best place and they serve some epic chicken nuggets for ur munchies. Places not to miss are the shed; shower on the 2nd floor where bob wanked nonstop and the shop is rly close like 1 min with ur bike....u get 3 if u stay there which u can share etc.

me and my friends stayed at Hostel Croydon wich was rly basic but cheap. so if that is what you are after its awesome. It is located in the center of red light district to so if you are into that kind of stuff its awesome. :)
