Hyperglides

Hi!

Does anyone of you use hyperglides, those little things to stick on the bottom of your mouse so it moves smooth?

If yes: does it make a big difference and how long do they last? Because I remember someone whining about the fact that they only last for some weeks (depending on how much pressure you put on your mouse).

Thanks in advance.

I stick the second set over my old mousefeet still on the mouse so theyre now uberthick. I recommand you that.

They're great, at the start very 'slippery', then wearing out a bit to become perfect. The wearing also depends on your mousemat as my qpad doesn't seem to wear them off nearly as much as others have reported.
oh ok, and which ones do you have if i may ask :)?

I use them for around half a year now for my Logitech G5 together with my Steelpad 5L.

It depends which underground the glides have... Rough surfaces will "damage" the hyperglides faster than soft surfaces...

Steelpad 5L has a soft (cloth) surface so the glides will last longer than on rough surfaces.

If you need any help you can contact me anytime.
i use them, havent changed them for a few months or smth D:
I have Logitech replacement feet which do as good a job as any other brand of these so-called "Hyperglides".
You can aquire them free of charge, simply email Logitech's customer support desk.
In other words, you can order them for free? :O?

maybe in the UK, but what about Belgium?

And what do you have to do?

I have a logitechmouse so I should just send them a mail " give me some glides biatchez!!!"

Just say you have an MX518 even if you don't.
I have an MX518 but can't actually remember telling them that.
Just email them, I doubt it matters about what country you are in.
(There might be a Belgian helpdesk...?)

I use them, never replaced them. You can get 1000 kilo's of dust out of them.
Die moet je ook niet hebben.
S&S heb ik.
i use qpad mousefeet "glidez" on a qpad

makes a huge difference when they are new - i use a cordless mouse (mx1000) and when the glides were new the mouse almost fell off the table several times because it just wouldnt stop moving by itself.

they are good for about 2 weeks but usable for way longer
I use Hyperglides as a replacement for the original mousefeet of my Copperhead. Have been using them for 6 months now on my Everglide Titan and they feel like new. =)
i use on G5 and had them on ages with Steelpad QcK !
my razer DB glides are still as new as they were when i bought the mouse a few months ago. And tbh cloth pads dont wear them down at all.
i use them with my diamondback on my steelpad 5L, works very well
