Inception!

Just got back from Inception.. amazing! Really good storyline, great ending, pretty long film though 2 and a half hours, worth the wait tho! Ellen Page (Juno) is strangely hot in it.. awaiting flame haha.

Brilliant film. It's not as smart as the reviews make out but it's complex as hell. You really need to concentrate throughout. Some of the scenes were visually mind-blowing, like the fight scene in the corridor and the floating bodies in the hotel room. Unbelievable really, it's like The Matrix bullet time all over again. Yea the hotel scenes were great, and they were actually done too, It wasn't CGI, dunno if you seen some of the preview programs on it.

DiCaprio is awesome. Not just because he is an awesome actor but he is also like barely in any bad movie. Seems to choose wisely. :)

It was incredibly good. My only problem was that the concept is just so awesome I could think of hundreds of really cool things they could've done with it that they didn't. Like when Ariadne learnt to manipulate the dream-world subtly in dream-Paris (with the mirrors), I thought she'd have to use those kind of 'change the world on the fly' type abilities in the big set-piece job at the end, but it never happened.

Either way, amazing special effects, and Nolan did a really good job at keeping the complexity understandable. Very, very cool film. And yes, Ellen Page was hot (and, quite aside from that, pretty damn good acting-wise as well, as were most of the cast).

IMO he was dreaming in his reality layer at the end. This was given away in my mind because Mal committed suicide by falling (the way to leave a layer as long as you're not sedated) and in the things he mentioned. He said at the start that people within his dreams are from his subconcious, they were perceptions, so I figure that in the limbo layer he goes into with his wife to rescue the mark his subconcious actually tells the truth (through wife Mal) when she mentions that agents arn't chasing him and its all his own make-believe.

I guess the opposite to this would be that he's in reality and all those things did happen but if so, why did his kids never grow up?
