Just finished watching "The illusionist", and its really an astonishing movie. I actually watched this movie just because i want to see if it could compete on the same level as "The Prestige"
And yes it was another top-film, one of the best i saw lately (And yes that means alot:P). I love Norton, he is casted perfectly for the role of Eisenheim. Jessica Biel still as gorgeous as i remember her to be. I know these movies are like 4 years old, but after i watched them, it still bugged me. I hated the fact they didn't explain the "tricks" in the illusionist, and i hated the ending for Hugh Jackman in the prestige. But these are the movies which give me an incredible feeling afterwards.
share the movies which gave you the same feeling as i tried to describe. No need to give me a list of 100 movies if you dont state why you loved it so much
: )

Gonna watch this now, hopefully it is a good movie :S
Usually I barely watch any movies at all, only on certain occasions and if I really have nothing else to do. The movie which I enjoyed watching the most has to be The Shawshank Redemption, if I even think about the movie I start getting goosebumps again, which I also had during almost the entire movie. First off, 'the guy who can get things', aka Morgan Freeman who plays the role of an inmate in this movie, is one of my favourite actors, love the tone of his voice and his way of speech, besides that, I think he has an incredible charisma and he seems as such a friendly guy who wouldn't harm a fly ever. Then there is Tim Robbins, who also plays an inmate but who has been jailed while he's actually innocent. I'd call him an excellent actor as well. The combination of these two guys, who are on the screen the most during the movie, and the amazing and very well-detailed story makes this movie my favourite alltime. Quite a shame that I only got told by Crack about it about a year ago while I asked some pictures of his movie collection, but as they say better late than never, which also counts for this movie since theres allot years that pass while they are in jail. As said in the start of the topic, this movie also gave me an incredible feeling after watching it, I think I sat around half an hour just staring at my screen while it was turned of and relived what I had just seen, was so amazed by how it was put together, the story and the acting, dont think I've been impressed that much ever before by a movie =]
Wont reveal much other info about the movie cuz' I personally cant bare if anyone explains an entire movie which I want to see myself, used to have an annoying uncle who did this and I really had to mute him while watching a movie together becuz he saw every movie already and during the movie he'd always tell what was going to happen while it was playing. He always used to watch at us with such a proud face like he created a miracle or something. No clue why I'm telling that but cant be assed to remove it either :P If ya havent seen it I'd suggest you to stop doing whatever your doing, cuz' watching this movie has the highest priority in life.
