DirectX Help !!!!

In last hours i searched on google how to update directx but no result only useless infos. Atm i have DirectX 9.0b and i wana update it to 9.0c if anyone got any ideea write it here .
1 solution it's reinstalling windows but i don't wana do that.

guys if you install now directx version over a oldone for example 9.0c over 9.0b doesn't work. so stop give infos like this .. i need smart answeres

uhm it works it overwrites the old one and uses the new one. If it doesent then ur comp is fucked and u should format it for the sake of retards

the web installer updates the directx installation tbh

maybe he's using some emulation software? :P
(just asking because otherwise it would have been pretty obvious how to install dx9.0c in the first place...without having knowledge of his actual problem)
