I did step on one of these things in the sea :o((

Couldn't walk for a day D: Still around 10 spikes left inside my foot, wasn't looking too bright for belgium next week. But I managed to pull out 15 of them and I can walk again with a little pain though :o( Hope I'll get out the others within the next few weeks :P

I did, only thing they did is give me some salve. So I bought myself a needle ;d

ah, then the spikes didn't go too deep inside otherwise the good doc would pull them out, I remember quite a few years ago when a friend of mine stepped on it, my mom just put some oil on it and pulled them wicked spikes out

you can also use vinegar, it dissolves the spikes(not all types though)

that's a bit odd, though it somewhat makes sense, the spikes are very fragile and maybe he didn't want to risk it

I know pulling them out can be quite painful so I can imagine that it hurts now :p
also quite a few years ago I was on Pag and I kinda slipped in the sea and stepped with both feet on some sharp stone, basically cut the soles of my feet and it was painful like hell, I still can't stand anyone touching my feet :x

My sister do step on that shit to , and to in Croatia :D But my father is a doctor and he had some glue in spray. After when he sprayed that on my sister foot he waited 2 mins and took the spikes out. Just amazing shit made in Czech :D
