This Game Ever Released?

Not sure if this was shown on the continent, so prolly Brits only...

There was a TV show on BBC2 a few years back, a computer game of old battles that they played. Sorta Civilisation come Age of Empires - you had to make tactics & then control your army to beat the computer.

Any ideas if this was ever released as a game?

that was being released as a pc game?

I thought you needed like 3 people to play that and some huge interactive board with little figures on ;x

No but there are fucking loads of people playing warcraft3 (like age of empires). for 1day cup, theres like 500 competing.

yeh, was Rome Total War.

Was preety cool and there was talk of doing the same thing with Warcraft 3 and AOE but it must have been binned.

that game WAS ROME TOTAL WAR

however in the TV series they used a slightly diffrent engine which is not avalible
