I got a problem with my mouse (mx518). It just freezes for 2/3secs each 1/2/3 minutes and whats more it disconnects ( i hear that sound for plug&play stuff). I did change ports for my mouse, any other device connected to USB works properly. Here is my question: is my mouse ready to die or is there sth i can do? Need some help here pls ;[
edit: ok if my cable is broken, so how the fuck it works properly after I disconnect mouse from pc and connect it again?

The cable got a loose contact somewhere. I'd say get a new one or if you are skilled fix it by yourself (there are tutorials somewhere on how to open it, cut the wire and solder it again).

Cable is dead, if you still have warranty Logitech will give you a new one, otherwise or fucked and you will need to buy a new one

had the same problems with my mx518... you can basically do nothing (unless u r skilled enough to fix it maybe), the cable is damaged somewhere (prolly close to the mouse)... had to buy a new one...

Take your mouse to pieces, so you'll see how the cable connects to the mouse. You have to cut the cable there, cut around 5cm from the cable, solder it back and it's done.
