You can now enter your SLAC GUID on ClanBase HERE: http://clanbase.ggl.com/guidprop.php?guidid=89

Step 1:
Register an account on the SLAC website here.

Step 2:
Download & Install SLAC here.

Step 3:
Launch SLAC once installed.

Step 4:
Run SLAC.exe and enter in the account details (username & password) and press "Login".

Step 5a:
Your SLAC GUID will be shown in the "Your User ID" section as soon as you login.

Step 5b:
You may also see your SLAC GUID by joinin a server with SLAC and typing /sl_players

Step 6:
Take note of your user ID and go to guid properties page and enter your SLAC User ID.

Actually Chaplja should be unbanned just to be able to defend himself against various accusations. But perhaps it is not that bad that he is banned, at least he can fully concentrate on developing SLAC : ).

yea there are pros and cons.. but he killed ET by making cheats, dunno if he profited from that, now he does SLAC for money and saves ET, tomorrow he will produce evolutionary SLAC-proof cheats and make some more money. :(

The program checks if you cheat, just like PB did. The problem is that PB kicks you immediately, so if many people use the same bot and 1 of them gets kicked, everybody else knows to not use their bot anymore until it's fixed.

With silent detections, you'll only get banned after days. Resulting in a bigger chance to get everybody who uses the same bot.

When SLAC will be used in CB/ESL for good, will you care about PB kicks? Or only SLAC kicks will be counted?

I mean e.g. if some1 will be playing on cybergames (or whichever public with pb enabled, not SLAC) and will get kicked for public hacks, will it count to ban a player from a league or not?

Yeah, but I belive that whenever SLAC will be released, there won't be 100% servers with it, and some will have still PB on. And the question is, will you ESL (or CB) ban those people who will get busted on PB servers while SLAC is the only one anticheat forced in ESL/CB? Will it still be a proof to bust someone?

I was still using the old install, but that one doesnt work so I had to re-dl...so I figured my old account was still good, cause I had just logged in with my old install....but the account doesnt work on the new install either, so had to re-register again...somehow, my old install did search for updates but didnt update anything...the new install does, weird but should be fixed now...30 minutes later..
