SLAC for linux and Mac OS X????

Just wondering of there is going to be a Linux and Mac OS X version?

ET is running on those other 2 OS's also, you can't simply disallow the people using those OS's to stop playing ET at CB/ESL. Would be ridiculous if CB makes a rules that say, you must use SLAC and there for u are forced to use windows as OS.

Asking this because I'm intrested in buying a macbook and wanna get rid of my windows PC, and my netbook simply can't handle ET. I know I can instal windows using BootCamp but I rather keep my macbook clean as I would only need it for playing ET if there is not going to be a SLAC version for Mac OS X.

that sucks, guess I'll stop playing ET then when I bought my macbook, Q3 CPMA here I come :D

i'm pretty sure there will be versions for other OS's as well, but it'll take a looong time i gues.

i think he would start with it after a final and stable SLAC version is released?

Chaplja said that there WILL be a linux client when SLAC is there in a stable version, and that this isn't a problem because he already programed on linux (lol).

Well, still, we can't play some cups and on some servers till stable version. It's pretty fucked up, even if I didn't play a game for weeks :(

well linux version will be there I think, but I guess it's to hard for chaplja to code for Mac, as I don't see anything Mac related in any SLAC news item or journal.
