can you tell me something that you would want changed with the config? brightness etcetc, would be good to know. i turned anti-aliasing to high @ nVidia settings (as well as a few other settings) but forgot to reboot before capturing the clip the screenie came from. so i guess i'll upload another one + the clip later on for some halp :}

get Agons config (C)
the texture pack makes the difference, only make sure you get some high quality textures, maximum aa and af, maybe higher res to downsize the movie, record it a bit darker than you would want to see it and voila, perfect movie config is done
you can adjust the colors later anyway, its what stops you from vomiting when you see those ss :<
It helps a lot, you can get really awesome quality & colors.
The moviemakers pack from tutorials section can do the job. Everything is auto installed (with textures etc etc)
thx
i would set:
1) r_mapoverbrightbits 3
2) antialiasing off
3) higher resolution if possible.
img_hdr 0 // toggles high dynamic range rendering [!]
try this ;p ?
seta r_ambientScale "0.7"
seta r_directedScale "1.25"
seta r_dlightBacks "1"
seta r_gamma "1.25"
seta r_ignorehwgamma "0"
seta r_intensity "1"
seta r_lightmap "0"
seta r_mapoverbrightbits "3"
seta r_normallength "0.5"
seta r_overBrightBits "1"
And in next step, try create decent contrast in Vegas (Or other video editor). My screens for example (Stil I'm fixing some bugs like overbrighting on walls/rocks but I just used too much intensity in Vegas =p):

You need higher sample values to fix this kind of "layers" at gun...
