Router?

Are there any known brands for decent Router available?
Also, if I have random disconnects, could it be a router problem?

NetGear & D-Link are 2 routers I've had good experiences with.
Cisco and HP routers are pretty good ;)

router is NEVER the problem. its ALWAYS the provider/lack of bandwidth.
Obviously you haven't tried TeleWell

my isp is just unbelieveable shit, but since they gave us this white router (of theirs) since we had cable issues, i keep having some fucking disconnects, fuck them so much

you have to keep in mind that isps will tell anything to keep you busy from blaming their lines. they will give you 100 routers or blame your house's wiring or whatever instead of admitting their lines are shit.

its not like they told me...my internet got screwd up, so they sent some tech guy to fix the cables and eventually switched my edimax with his shitty router, and since then the internet is tbh faster but keeps disconnecting every few hours (not to mention xfire been logged on and off all the time now)
we're 3 PC users, maybe thats why?

nope, dlink is shit, netgear is shit, there is a huge load of really bad routers out th000r!

dlink horstbox is nice ^.^

had 2 d-link routers, both died within 6 months (worked fine for that small period of time though). personally i'd go for one which supports ddwrt.
